Lunch Time
Spencer students will have lunch in the cafeteria each day. Lunch aides will assist children with any questions and/or needs such as opening drinks and food, getting utensils, disposing of trash, getting to the playground, etc. Students eat at the tables for the first half of lunch and go outside on the playground for the second half of their time. Lunchtime is 11:10am - 11:55pm.

Students have the choice of hot lunch or cold lunch. It is easier to add money to your child's lunch account through the district's website rather than sending in cash or check with your child. To access your child's lunch account, you will use Parent Connect. Clicking the button below will take you to Parent Connect. If you are sending cold lunch, please pack healthy foods in a lunch box or bag labeled with your child's name.
Snack Time
We have a healthy snack break in the afternoon each day. I highly recommend putting your child's snack in a separate compartment or pocket of your child's backpack so that there is no confusion at lunch time. Please note that our snack time is in the afternoon, so cold items will need to be kept cold for most of the day. We encourage healthy snacks such as fruit, vegetables, cheese and crackers, applesauce, and yogurt. Water is the only beverage allowed at snack time, and we have several filtered water bottle refill stations in the school.
